Metal Slug

I'm back for a short stay, and i'll see how long it lasts this time. There's been a lot of things that have been pushing my buttons recently, and i'd like to address them all, but i think it would mean very little to the people if i said it through the computer, so i'll get around to it in person sometime. Tonight, though, my parents kinda made me mad. They both know my friend Lori who was in the Marines and is back now, and she was having an open house, so we thought we'd check in and say hi for about a half hour. Now, Lori's awesome, and i'd love to spend time with her, but i figured that this wasn't the time. There was all kinds of people there that kept congratulating her on getting through boot camp, so i hardly got a word in with Lori. Then these people that i knew through church mostly turned to me and asked me how school was, and i told them, but once i finished they had the look on their face that they didn't really give a crap, but just wanted to be kind by asking, since i was nearby. We got to about the 1 hour mark and i was quite ready to leave, and my dad was being a crazy buffoon like usual by telling stupid jokes and prolonging the stay. I finally found an opening to talk to Lori a little, and we did, but then i challenged her to arm wrestling, so my dad catches wind and comes down and exacerbates the situation in front of everyone. I beat Lori, but then everyone was crowded around again, and our conversation piece was over. Thanks. So, my mom and dad keep talking to people after this and sit around eating whatever they find laying around. Another hour and a half later, we finally get to leave. My dad drags Lori outside with us, and i'm like "i'll give her a hug or whatever" so we get to my dad's car, and then he's like... "i'll walk her back up" and takes off with her. Ok, goodbyes are shit anyways. I only dated her for a year and a half, but even though we're broken up, i'd like to talk to her sometime during the night, but you made that kind of impossible dad. Not to mention he's a hardcore conservative, who can't be left out of the loop of any conversation. It just clashes with me too much. So i went to the gym tonight, barely making it in before it closed, and once again, punched the punching bags until my knuckles were bloody to get rid of the aggression i had built up by now. It felt good, but it's probably not something i should make a habit out of. Well, there's a bunch of other stuff on my mind, but maybe it's best that it stays there. I hope everyone's making it through school ok, and that you're all enjoying this crazy ass weather we're having here in colorado. Have a good one.

Oh, GOD, now I get it.

Hey everyone, i know it's been a while, but now your 4th favorite blogger is back. I'll keep it simple. I'm back at school, and things are going better this semester. I have a better schedule, including better classes and i get to sleep hella late. Included is a buddhism class, which is totally cool. I suggest you guys learn more about it if you have the chance, or any religions for that matter, as they can open your eyes to new things. One of the biggest things i thought about today was at sunday school, and the teacher asked the question of what we would ask God if we saw him in heaven, and people were saying stuff like "Why is there suffering?" I just thought, "If we're in heaven, and we no longer have any doubt that there is a heaven or a god, why does anything matter anymore that happened on earth?" I'd say something like "Where do i go now?" and i'd just want to get started on the afterlife, instead of looking back at how crappy my earth life might've been. That might just be me. Well, that's all I really have for now, just a thought for the day. I hope everyone is doing well, and i'll catch y'all later.
